Why is there heat?

So, today Eric and I decided to not be old and boring and go to a yacht show. Today was way to damn hot for a yacht show on the water. I work outside, so I experienced extreme heat yesterday and that was the last thing I wanted today. So, after I started sweating going in and out of these ginormous boats, I needed some air conditioning.

Eric loves the heat. He makes fun of me because I cannot handle it and I work outside. Yes, it is an inconvenience but I can handle the cold a ton better.

Anyway, the closest thing to the docks was Moe’s Southwest Grill. I do not know what your stance is on the Chipotle, Moe’s, Qudoba stance but I am 100% a Chipotle supporter. Eric on the otherhand is a die-heart Moe’s fan.

So, I unwillingly went into Moe’s to get some queso, because unfortunately Chipotle does not have it, and I needed some air conditioning.

I was not happy during this entire experience.

We looked in and notice the line was not long and we found a table to sit and cool off at. So, I got up and stood in line which took 20 minutes with only a single person in front of me.

Why you ask? Because three people were behind the counter and only one of them was working. How does that make any damn sense?!

So, once I finally got the queso and chips I was waiting in line to pay while Eric saved the table. I was the first in line to pay and this lady working made me sit there while she was figuring three different people’s orders BEHIND me.

You could say I was pissed off, to say the least. On top of that, I was trying to be out of the heat and right behind this checkout counter was the stove. This heat was blowing on me while she was taking orders from behind me.

So, once I finally got to sit down and eat something, we notice we did not have nearly enough chips to finish the queso. I had to get my ass back up in this line and had to wait just to refill something I should have already had. That took another 10 minutes. Once be finished that basket it still wasn’t enough. So Eric got up and got some chips so we could finally finish this queso.

I was extremely displeased with my Moe’s experience today and will not be attending again soon.

I will be dragged there again because of Eric, he just loves this place.

What are your thoughts?

Have you had similar encounters? Which of the three is your favorite?
